Research interest

The understanding of the post-translational regulation of epithelial sodium transport under physiological and pathophysiological conditions. The experimental approaches are a combination of electrophysiological, imaging and molecular techniques carried out primarily on human tissue samples and cell cultures.

Experimental Approach

Primary experimental approaches used to study the regulation of these molecular mechanisms, include the use of various targeted transgenic models, histological and molecular biological techniques, in addition to human kidney isolates.
